PSCS is the most prestigious institution of the region. Since its inception, the system has been providing quality education to almost 5000 students from different regions of GB. The institution facilitates students seeking education from HSSC to BS level.

The Ministry of Education and HEC has introduced BS programs to meet evolving academic demands. To support this, Public College offers BS programs(Affiliated with UOBS), enabling students to align with modern trends in Pakistan’s education system. Classes are equipped with the latest technology, practical labs, and an enriched library.

The institution operates under the supervision of the Pakistan Army to ensure quality education, management, and discipline for the youth of Gilgit Baltistan.

Education is a process of social development which not only provides academic excellence to the students but also develop their personality according to their potential. In modern civilization, acquiring standard/quality education is a basic constitutional right of every child for his/her progress in the society. Since its inception Public School & College Skardu has been rendering its quality services in the field of education to the people of Baltistan region. The institution is being managed by a "Board of Governors" and has a distinctive philosophy of equality, justice, fair play and pursuit of excellence. This is achieved through outstanding teaching and careful support for all students throughout their time in institution.
